Unlike squid metal fishing, Omorig fishing uses long leader lines of 1 to 1.5 meters, making it difficult to detect bites.
To overcome this, Hover was developed as an Omorig-specific jig that makes it easier to feel bites. The hover fin attached to its back catches the current and quickly tightens the line, creating a stable hovering state.
- The lure's belly is equipped with a bite marker in a highly visible luminous color, "490 Glow." Since the Omo-rig is a fishing method that involves luring squid from bottom to top, the marker is positioned to be easily seen by squid that are following it from below.
- A "warm jacket" that appeals to squid with a bait-like temperature. The lure uses a fabric that absorbs and stores heat from sunlight and fishing lights, appealing to squid at a temperature close to that of baitfish.
